Hydroponic French Lettuce and Soil-Grown Cucumber Greenhouse Project

Completed in 2022, this greenhouse project covers a total area of 16,000 square meters and features a 9.6-meter span and a 6.2-meter structure height. The project was designed to provide a controlled and efficient growing environment for hydroponic French lettuce and soil-grown cucumber production.

The engineered greenhouse structure and its suitable height support effective air circulation, balanced natural light distribution, and improved temperature and humidity management. These conditions help reduce environmental stress, enhance plant development, and maintain consistent crop quality throughout the cultivation period.

French lettuce is cultivated using a hydroponic system without direct reliance on agricultural soil. Water and essential nutrients are delivered precisely to the root zone, allowing accurate management of irrigation and plant nutrition. This cultivation method reduces water consumption, improves resource efficiency, and lowers the risk of soil-borne diseases.

A separate section of the greenhouse is dedicated to soil-grown cucumbers. Proper management of the growing medium, irrigation, fertilization, and greenhouse climate provides favorable conditions for healthy plant growth and the production of uniform, high-quality cucumbers.

Combining hydroponic French lettuce cultivation with soil-grown cucumber production allows the greenhouse capacity to be used efficiently while diversifying commercial output. The project focuses on sustainable production, optimized resource consumption, and reliable year-round greenhouse cultivation.
